The song want to express whatever problem you will face just stay focus on your life never commit suicide. On stanza of the song it is very literal that when you are on the dark side of your life you must strengthen your spirit to overcome any problem.  Over all the song is so good  it is not just only at the lyrics but also the melody of the song. The song is very inspirational I love the song because I can relate on it. When you are at the situation where in you have many problems this song is very helpful and also I love the singer that's all.
