RED CROSS FUN RUN

  “RUN TO SAVE LIVES”

Last February 10, 2013 a fun run was held under the supervision of RED CROSS PHILPPINES. The fun run beneficiary is to be given on the red foundation to be part of the Red Cross campaign on the protection of life of every individual.

 La VerdadChristian College is one of the participance of the unity run. Our school is sponsored by UNTV, they pay for the registration of every student. La VerdadChristian College Caloocan and Apalit are present to the fun run. Almost all of the students of La Verdad Christian College were present to fun run.

Besides La Verdad, UNTV were participated on the Red Cross Fun Run and many schools, universities, company are also present. This fun run is most just for fun but it is very important to those people that will benefit to the program. We are running not just for happiness but besides that happiness we’ve also save lives.

       The said funs run in not only at the Philippines it is a word wide event. On the Asian country we are the first placer and in word wide we are forth in line. That award is not bad for us but for me you just run on the fun run that was a great award for me because on that little participation I contribute to save many lives. Of every students and everyone who participate and will participate the fun run upcoming years think of this “you will run to save lives”.      

“Why Am I Here At La VerdadChristian College?”

First La Verdad Christian College is an institution build by Bro Eli and Bro Daniel to serve people and it is part of public service of Bro Eli Soriano and Kuya Daniel Razon. La Verdad Christian College has three branches the La Verdad Christian College-Africa, the La Verdad Christian College-Aplait and the La Verdad Christian College-Caloocan.

Graduating for now is very important to many persons but the main problem is school and money. For I am one of many teenagers dreaming to finish their studies the firs reason why am I here at La Verdad is my parents don’t have a ability to send me on university or exclusive School. For me now a day’s graduating from exclusive school is not important because for me it the very important is you have the ability and the knowledge to career you those even if you graduated from any school.

    I don’t like Mass Communication to be my profession but I chose it to improve my skills and talent and beside I want to improve my personality. The second reason I want to improve what I have for now because since I was a child I dream to be an actor and it is related to the profession I’m taking-up now.

The third reason why I am here is maybe God wanted me to be part of this institution because I believe that on anything that happen to a person God has a plan. I am so luck for being part of the school because besides from knowledge in any subject that they were teaching, they also teach us a spiritual knowledge. 

“First Christian Living Week At La Verdad Christian CollegeCaloocan”

 

Bread Choral 

The first Christian Living Week of La Verdad Christian College celebrates last January 28, to February 1, 2013. All students from La Verdad Christian College Caloocan were required to join the program.

The program is formally started Monday January 28. The opening program was held at La Verdad auditorium. The program is started with the opening remarks of Mr. Tykes Villagomez and followed by the cheering competition of every section. The program during Monday is last only for 1-2 hours because during that day students have their class.

MCT-12 Chorale Champion

On the second day of the program the poster making contest was held. Every student has two students representing their section. Besides poster making photo completion is also held that day. The two competitions were held at the La Verdad auditorium. While the participants is at the completion all of the students were at their own class.

On the third day of the Christian Living Week the class were suspended due to the participation of all students on the third day of program. On the third day bible Quiz Bee, Bible Preaching, Solo Singing, Chorale and Christian Dance were held also at La Verdad Auditorium. Every section on first year to second year level must have their participant on every competition. Over all, all of the preparation of every participant is worth full because the program last for a day with happiness.

On the last day of the celebration of the CL week the final competition is the “Gayak Fashion Show”. The competition has no winner because they are all winner. And the most awaited “A Song of Praise” is held that day. The said competition is joined by a student this completion focus on the student composition and the interpretation of the composition. And the declared winner is Mr. Roland Santos.

MCT-12 Christian Dance Champion

The last part of the program was the awarding of winners. The winner on poster making is Mr. Julius Paranal of MCT-11.the winner of the quiz bee competition came from MCT-13 and HCs-11. The three best on Bible Preacher is came from MCT-13, MCT-21 and MCT-11. The winner on the solo singing came from MCT-13 in the person of Mr. Roland Santos. The chorale completion winner is the MCT-12 and MCT-12 is also the winner of Christian Dance Competition.  The overall winner on the Christian Living Week is the MCT-13.

UNTV LA VERDAD
“DEAR KUYA”

      During the first anniversary UNTV radio station launches a new program hosted by “Dear Kuya”. The program is officially aired January 14, 2013 and until now it is aired every day.  This program was hosted by the veteran broadcaster of UNTV Mr. Daniel Razon. The said radio program is just like a consulting of the letter sender problem, the said program resolve common problems of a letter sender including family, relationship, health and many more.

          The Dear Kuya is aired on UNTV La Verdad Radio 1350, as the clock strikes nine at the morning the segment Dear Kuya start up to twelve noon. The said program is airs every Monday to Friday and there is also a simulcast via the live streaming feature of UNTVradiolaverdad.com. 

           

      Dear Kuya is different from any other radio program it has three segments first the reading of the letter coming from a letter sender and during the reading of the letter a live dramatization of the letter will be held by actors. When the reading and dramatization of the letter the solution of the problem will be solve true the word of Bible and biblical advices by Bro.Eli Soriano.

   Some actors and actresses that are dramatizing the letter is a student from La Verdad Christian College Caloocan. The said students were part of the project of Kuya Daniel and Bro Eli on the free education to those chosen students. The students are a Mass Communication major and the live drama that they are doing is part of their training on a radio program.

          Those chosen letter that were air will receive a cash reward this is part of the public service that is extended to the program.
